CONDUCTING

There is a world of choral music to explore, and as a conductor I love the journey!   My choirs have sung music spanning 10 centuries, 6 continents, and over 30 languages.

For nearly 30 years, it was my great pleasure to direct the choirs at Wheaton College (MA), until my recent retirement.  Notable highlights included performances with Skylark Vocal Ensemble, Immanuel Music, and Christopher Lowrey and members of Ensemble Altera;  master classes with Roomful of Teeth, the King's Singers, Rockapella and Take 6; and a wide range of visiting artists collaborations, including Tatiana Sarbinska (Bulgarian), Celia Malheiro (Brazilian jazz), Dominique Eade and Time Out (vocal jazz), Donnell Patterson, Jonathan Singleton and Phillip Woods (gospel), Karan Casey (Celtic folk), Issa Coulibaly (West African), Orchid Ensemble & Jing Ling Tam (southeast Asian), Valerie Naranjo (Native American), and many more.

Additional choir appointments have included the Old South Church Gospel Choir, the Oure Pleasure Singers, the UMASS Dartmouth choirs, and several church choirs.
