TECHNICAL NOTES

The Compositions page can take a while to load in, due to the number of videos.  If you don't get in after a few refreshes and a reasonable time, please notify me using the form below.       

Embedded Youtube videos on this site are supposed to play seamlessly from the site.    

Unfortunately, recent new "privacy" programming at Youtube has resulted in a bug on some browsers, resulting in Youtube error messages that ask you to sign in to Youtube in order to prove you are not a bot.  The error messages can appear even if you are actually signed into Youtube.  And signing in doesn't always solve the problem.

The problems seem less frequent on Chrome, and more frequent on Safari and Firefox, but even on these browsers the problems seem intermittent.  

We are working to understand the programming problems, but in the meantime, we offer two workarounds:

1. Switch browser or viewing device.    This is not guaranteed to work, but it can fix the problem, allowing you to watch videos per normal from the website.
   
   
2. Use the "VIEW ON YOUTUBE" links below each video.   As a bandaid for the problem, until there is a more durable technical fix, we've added "VIEW ON YOUTUBE" links below each video.   The links open new browser windows, which is not ideal for ease of viewing.   But they do allow you to access all of the preview videos in order to get a close look at the scores.
